Hi! Welcome to my blog.
I'm a thirty-five year old mom, married to my high school sweetheart, living in the deep south. Birmingham Alabama does count as the deep south, right?
I'm most commonly misdiagnosed as an extrovert, but in reality I'm overwhelmed by a crowd. (And by a crowd, I mean more than three people. Hashtag introvert.)
What you're most likely to find here: ramblings about infertility, adoption and family dynamics. Oh, and Jesus. LOTS of Jesus.
What you'll definitely not get from me: recipes, cleaning tips, or financial planning strategies. Set the bar really low for sensible, adult-ish content.
I occasionally write in run-on sentences. And fragments. I hope that's not a deal breaker. I'm passionate about chocolate, social media and reality TV. Don't say I didn't warn you.
I connect best one on one, otherwise my socially awkward tendencies kick in. So, as you're reading, picture us sharing a plate of warm chocolate chip cookies at a cozy coffee shop. Or we can share a bottle of red wine at a swanky bar. I'm flexible.
I'm a firm believer in the power of a good story. My greatest desire is to inspire women to celebrate each other and live authentically. I created this space because writing is how I process life.
I'm so glad you're here. You can also find me on Facebook and Insta. (duh!) I'd love to hear from you, so be sure and say hi somehow!
